摘要

An engine room simulator has recently been developed to simulate the behaviors of a river-going vessel. This paper firstly introduces the layout of software and hardware instruments of the engine room simulator. Mathematical models of the main propulsion system, electrical power station, auxiliary machinery systems are proposed in the paper. A real time simulation algorithm for main propulsive engine is described to meet the demands of rapid response, long running duration and little error accumulation of the simulator. Typical performance failures of main engine and typical accidents of electrical power station and auxiliary machinery systems were animated and their simulation models are briefly mentioned in this paper. Symptoms together with corresponding remedy measures of these accidents are described. Trainees' operation to the simulated failures can be assessed and operation-assessing algorithm is also introduced in this paper.
