摘要

This paper consists of three parts. The first part describes the up-to-date performance of the Java SDKs and utilization of the abundant Java APIs for HPC and real-time visualization. Merits of adopting the Java in numerical simulation of electromagnetic phenomena with PC and Massively Paralleled Processor are clarified from comparison with ordinary computer languages. The second part explains the Java's fundamental characteristics in numerical calculations. The merits of adopting Java over the ordinary computer languages are discussed. The last part explores the utilization of Java3D in the real-time visualization of three-dimensional phenomena. Through the fundamental calculation and practical visualization results, the significance of Java in numerical simulation is emphasized from a point of view of further research environment.
