摘要

The Lüders postulate is reviewed and implications for the distinguishability of observables of quantum mechanics as presented by yon Neumann. It describes unambiguously the measurement of observables with a degenerate spectrum. As an example, the efficient distinguishability of two similar spin-1/2 particle observables is described and implementation issues are analyzed. Potential applications in the field of quantum computers are outlined.
