Current Status and Development of Insulation On-line Monitoring of Power Equipments

In recent years, the power supply has increased rapidly because of the market demand, which requires the improvement of the safety and reliability of the power equipment. However, the lagged methodology of diagnosis is an obstacle. To overcome it, the only way is to introduce the on-line testing or monitoring method to diagnose the power equipment. This paper gives an overall description on the general development and the developing trend of on-line testing or monitoring method in China and abroad, and summarizes up the key techniques.
