APPLICATION OF HIGH RESOLUTION SATELLITE IMAGES AND LANDSAT 7 INENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATION FOR OILFIELD ENGINEERING

摘要

The construction of oil & gas fields will impose eventually significant impactsupon local ecological environment. How to formulate reasonable development program for theconstruction of oil & gas fields using remote sensing technology and evaluate the impacts of oil& gas field development upon ecological environment has been emphasized highly by thecompetent departments for environment protection in PetroChina. The French SPOT -5 satelliteimaginary data has very high spatial resolution and, in combination with the American Landsat –7 ETM imaginary data, can provide high quality information of engineering environment inoilfield development area, being an effective information resource for decision-making, survey,design and environment monitor during oil & gas field development.
