In terms of the special characteristics of the high manganese nitrogen low nickel austenite of stainless steel,this thesis details the analysis on several main factors causing herringbone defects which are easy to appear and difficult to control during cold rolling for low nickel austenite of stainless steel,and key preventative processes through importantly describing the rolling processes of the twenty-high roll mill and annealing processes of the cold strip annealing pickling line during cold rolling for the low nickel austenite of stainless steel,so as to ensure the products of this type finally meet the using requirements on hairling and polishing and other treatments on the steel surfaces by the customers.
