In plate rolling practice,we found the problem that the model predictive rolling force values at the last pass had big bias with measured ones for some special plates with controlled rolling condition.By thermal expansion experiments where samples were cut from those special problem plates,we confirmed the rolling force deviation due to the material just at the phase transformation for those special specification plates.For this reason,we improved the existed rolling force calculation model,considering the material phase transformation effect on the deformation resistance.Improved rolling force preset deviation significantly reduced.
