The structure and working principium were analyzed. Emphasis was put on the software system based on Delphi7. To respond to simulating operation in time, an event-driven design principle was presented. A kind of built-in operation rule based on ADO database was put forward and taken as standard to check whether the simulating operation. By the technology of multimedia and acoustics, the system has a good feedback of vision and hearing and enhancing the fidelity of the system. To synchronize visual simulation with the display of state data shown on different operating platforms, serial communication was introduced. The work flow of automatic and manual operation modes and the means of data acquisition and conversion were discussed in particular. The software project was divided into modules according to different operation mode. Based on above mentioned, a missile training simulator is fulfilled, and a large amount of simulating training shows that the design principle is very viable and valid.
