The way people perceive the environment includes vision,hearing, smell, touch and taste. Among this, visual is the mainway to perceive the environment. And the visual of cognitionand experience is formed by past experiences. In the past,designer use master plan, sections and hand painting perspectiveto show their concept. With the progress of the times, designershas more and more ways can present space, like models, 3DMax,Sketch up, etc. According to currently imaging technology,people generally considered that three-dimensions (3D) imagesare easier than two-dimensions (2D) images to understand ofspace. However, between the composite image in landscape orlandscape architecture, which is more similar with realexperienced environment still need to be explored, so themotivation generated. According to others’ research, most arediscussion on relationship between composition of 2D imageand preferences, no research focus on 3D images andpreferences. The study use SBE (Scenic Beauty Estimation)method to analyze relationship between composition of 2Dimage and preferences, as the control group, to test whichdifferent between 3D images and preferences. Comparing thepreferences of 2D and 3D photos, and relationship between itscomposition. Hoping to know which factors that affectpreferences of landscape.
