1. The proportion of people voting in the thermal comfort zoneis 83% in FR mode, and thus the residents are highly adaptedand satisfied with the thermal environment of their houses.2. The mean comfort temperature in free running mode is27.0 °C (standard deviation = 2.1 °C) in hot and humidseason. The results showed that the comfort temperature ofthis study is within the acceptable zone of the adaptive model.3. The comfort temperature is related with skin moisturesensation, and thus the evaporation of the skin moisture isimportant to increase the comfort temperature in the hot andhumid season.4. The residents adapt to hot and humid environments byincreasing the air movement usage through the behaviouraladaptive actions such as opening the windows and using fans.
