We present a framework dedicated for simulation and controlrnof incompressible fluid flows. The simulation is basedrnon the Navier-Stokes model with possible control actuationrnfrom a customizable control module. We describerncomponents of our simulation architecture: ComputationalrnFluid Dynamics (CFD) code VISTA featuring a Navier-rnStokes solver, Utility library with shared functionality forrncustomizable Flow Control modules and the configurationrnsystem allowing to define separate simulation cases. FlowrnControl modules are responsible for performing controlrncalculations, reading flow fields values, actuation, storingrnresults for post-processing in each time step. By creatingrnnew Flow control modules, we can simulate different flowrncontrol behaviour and strategies. The simulation solutionrnand it’s components are realized in C++ using VISTA andrnDiffpack API.We present a case study based on this framework,rnwhere the objective is to suppress vortex sheddingrnaround cylinders in the 2D space domain by feedback controlrnbased module with kernel coefficients pre-calculated inrnMATLAB using Ginzburg-Landau model.
