3-D data in the form of a set of transversal optical coherence lomograms of a target surface, separated by steps much smaller than the coherence length, is used to build longitudinal tomograms through the application ot a suitable software algorithm. The comparison of these software generated tomograms with directly obtained longitudinal tomograms docs not show significant differences.
