In the paper, the thirteen magnetization curves of the four-phase 8/6 structure Switched Reluctance motor could be calculated by the nonlinear equivalent magnetic network method. The classified magnetic paths, the equivalent rectangle ladder magnetic poles, the equivalent elliptical ladder magnetic poles and the analytic models are given. The comparison of the two methods for the calculation of the magnetization curves of the same motor shows that the calculated results of the magnetization curves of the Switched Reluctance motor based on the nonlinear equivalent magnetic network method tally with those based on the 2-D finite element method.
