摘要

The aim of this work was to study the catalytic properties of porous silica and quartz glass packings in the ozone synthesis under silent discharges action. Influence of the gap width and grain size of the packings was examined. Silica packing was found more effective than quartz glass, however, it was shown that internal surface of porous silica does not have substancial improtance for the ozone formation process.
