The paper presents a short histological reference for the ammonia refrigerating systems in Bulgaria,rnthe new tendencies for reconstruction and building of new industrial systems, and also some energyrnefficient and operation project concepts of industrial ammonia refrigerating units. The main sourcesrnof non-reversible losses in ammonia refrigerating systems have been discussed.rnThe data presented in the paper confirm the indisputable position of ammonia refrigerating systemsrnfor the future as well.
