Benchmarking a CAD Based Monte Carlo Code Using Fusion Specific Experiments

Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Fusion Technology Institute and Argonne National Laboratories have recently developed a CAD based Monte Carlo code (DAG-MCNP) to perform nuclear analysis of complex 3-D systems [1,2]. This code is particularly useful for the design and analysis of fusion systems such as ITER, ARIES-CS, and HAPL [3].
