Almost two years after the Asian economic and financial upheavals began,mny Asian economies are still not expected to recover significantly in the short term.Aluminium consumption has falen dramatically and is expected to remain weak in the short term.Consumption in Japan,south Korea and soem of the ocuntries of South East Asia -Indonesia,Malaysia and thailand,in particular-has bene worst affected.
