CONSTRUCTION OF THE EXPLORATORY GALLERY FOR TUNNEL VISNOVE-MARTIN

摘要

A pilot tunnel is driven in the stage of detailed engineering - geological and hydrogeological investigation for the designed tunnel Visnove. Tunneling by the company Doprastav a.s. Bratislava started in november 1998. The pilot tunnel, driven by the NATM and TBM, cross the mountainous ridge Lucanska Mala Fatra characterized by a very coplex geological and tectonical structure. The tunneling meets serious problems in the zones of tectonic faults characterized by heterogeneous structure and concentrated groundwater inflows.
