摘要

The central section of Oume Tunnel, which has a maximum excavation cross section of 261m~2, is the first highway tunnel having a double-tier structure to be excavated by NATM in Japan. Various auxiliary construction methods were employed to control the effect of excavation on surrounding structures. As a result, surface settlement has been controlled to a maximum of 20mm at the stage of completion of upper half excavation, and horizontal jet grouting was shown to be extremely effective in settlement control.
