摘要

Ground movements due to tunneling vary in magnitude and trend depending on several factors. Most of empirical and semi-empirical formulae cannot simultaneously take into consideration all the relevant factors. In this study, a new expert system was developed to reasonably predict the ground movements and damage assessments for the adjacent structure due to tunneling. Also, this paper suggests the charts for the damage assessment of adjacent structures due to tunnel excavation based on the Seoul Subway data.
