摘要

Advanced real-time satellite simulator (ARTSS) has been developed to support the ground operations activities of the ETRI satellite control system(ESCOS). ARTSS based on the top-down design approach and modular programming concept ensures much more freedom in modification and expansion of the system and will provide a new satellite simulation environment with the graphicenhanced monitoring and control facilities. The system consisting of software spacecraft subsystems models and a hardware payload subsystem, which is a Ku-band communication transponder developed by ETRI, will be a high performance satellite simulator running on low-cost desk top computers. In this paper, the system architecture and simulation models are described and its real-time operating facilities are discussed.
