This paper describes a rotorcraft system implemented to achieve the unique challenge posed in the development of a Fuzzy Logic based control system for 120° split swashplate. The necessity of a system like this in the market also will be discussed. The key development steps of this system are identified and described. This includes the hardware chosen as well as their interfaces in order to achieve a reliable platform. Information will be provided on why a Fuzzy Logic control seems reasonable for a complex system like this helicopter. Also it includes a description of the fuzzy control system and its software development. Likewise, this paper will talk about testing results and data of Fuzzy system control and the platform. Finally, it will summarize procedures accomplished and planned for the future. The project attempts to provide a proof of concept and gather research data for future development.
