AeroCopter, Inc., located in Boston, Massachusetts, is a YAS Venture funded company and an entrepreneur- based research start up that is pioneering the third generation of airborne transportation systems. The company was founded in 2000 to design and develop a "best in class," advanced aircraft system utilizing Mono-Tilt-Rotor (MTR) technology combining the Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) capabilities of a helicopter with the horizontal speed and payload of a traditional airplane. AeroCopter, Inc. and its affiliates proudly present the Kestrel, a revolutionary VTOL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) utilizing Counter-Rotating MTR technology with Co-Axial Rotor configuration.
