摘要

Our analysis shows that climate, emissions and vegetation changes between 2000 and 2050 could lead to decreases in PM_(2.5) up to 12 μg/m~3 over the U.S., in particular over the eastern U.S. Summertime surface O_3 levels are also predicted to decrease up to 20 ppbv over large areas of the country. We will discuss further these results in terms of different RCP scenarios, and quantify the changes resulting from climate, emissions and land cover/use alone. In addition, we will specifically explore the effects of future changes in the visibility at the U.S. National Parks.
