1. PM_(11) and TSP concentrations highly increase during spring and early summer at four observation sites over Asian dust source regions. 2. Dry deposition rates, consistent with dust event frequency, are observed not only in spring but also in summer and fall. 3. In Qira, extraordinarily high concentration of particles > 11 μm is observed during dust storm and blowing sand/dust events. 4. Size distribution of the TSP samples collected during dust storm show that only 2.4% of the particles are smaller than 10 μm, while for the samples collected during floating dust, more than 50% of the particles are smaller than 10 μm.
