Yu-Ji Gas Pipeline Project Contractor HSE Management

Yulin-Jinan gas transmission pipeline project is another important gas pipeline projectrnconstructed by China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, following Sichuan to Easternrngas transmission pipeline project, which is also a National "Eleventh Five-Year" keyrnproject. The number of construction contractor who took part in the Yulin-Jinan naturalrngas pipeline construction projects are more than 80, including exploration, blasting, thernlaying of pipelines, corrosion prevention, flaw detection and so on. Because individualrncontractor’s HSE concept are different greatly, HSE education and training are heavy,rnthe key content of the site safety monitoring is more, structure of project managementrnorganization is complex, construction period is long, the task of coordination with thernlocal government and people is difficult and so on. So HSE management of thernconstruction period contractor is the difficulty and focus of the project constructionrnsafety environmental protection. Therefore, the HSE management of contractors willrndirectly affect the company’s integrated HSE performance. This paper comparing thernmanagement system standards with project actuality and contractors’ actual condition,rnsets down a set of practical and operable management procedures and requirements,rnwhich has a significance for standardizing contractor management and improvingrnenterprise HSE performance.
