In the problems of the contemporary world the constructive optimization of the couplins, pipes, utilized in industry is joined. This paper tackles a theme frequently met in the engineering design of some pipes, couplings, vessels from the industrial installations, when the geometric elements determining, in true size, is the basis of their execution and assembling, in installation. The design, the execution and their assembling requires tracing of the coupling unfolding. The objective of this paper is to solve one of these applications, using the classical method of the descriptive geometry and the analytical method. The methods for determining the unfolded curves are implemented using the modern programs, to automate their plotting. This paper proposes to establish the curve of intersection of two cylinders, with the same diameter, with concurrent and inclined axes. This case may be automated for cylinders intersections of different size and inclined at different angles.
