Simulation study for seaport planning and management

摘要

An efficient simulation model for seaports planning has been developed.the model assists in making decisions on the logistic management of port operations and it optimises the utilisation of port resources and provides estimates for berth throughput and ship turnaround time.A number of berth assignment rules are considered in order to optimise berth resource's utilisation,ship turnaround time and berth throughput.
