In this paper are described properties of catalyst for fuel cells based on MnO_x, which is intended for positive electrode of fuel cells. Mainly is described catalyst in powder form matters obtained by reduction reaction KMnO_4 with carbon soot Chezacarb A. This catalyst has unstable properties. The stability of this catalyst is probably influenced by the water penetration into the structure of the catalyst and thereby leads to gradual destabilization. Properties determination of the catalyst was carried out by the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance method.
