Free vibration analysis of a finitely length shell panel composites with piezoelectric actuator, using three-dimensional elasticity solution is presented. The shell panel is simply supported at the boundaries (Four sides). The highly coupled partial differential equations (p.d.e.) are reduced to ordinary differential equations (o.d.e.) with variable coefficients by means of trigonometric function expansion in circumferential and longitudinal directions. For free vibration analysis, through dividing each layer thin laminate, the variable coefficients in o.d.e. become constants and the resulting equations are solved with two different ways. Numerical examples are presented for [0/90/P] lamination and compared in two methods.
