Effective Gettering Mechanisms in Solar Multicrystalline Materials

摘要

A new gettering procedure for solar cells on multicrystalline silicon is considered. Gettering region is formed by deposition of Al film on specially prepared Si with developed surface. The advantages of such a new getter process in comparison with traditional Al getter treatments are demonstrated and discussed. Physical mechanisms substantiating the observed effects are analysed and studied by computer simulations of gettering procedures.
