By utilizing the satellite TBBdata,radar observations,NCEP grid reanalysis data,surface observation and routine rawinsonde,this paper provides detailed analysis and classification about the MCSs occurred during the Meiyu Period of 2007 in the Yangtze and Huai River Basin..The main conclusions of this paper are given below.
