It is difficult to use rule decision-making methods and system engineering methods to solve the complex problems that belong to the scope of complex giant system. But using the theory of meta-synthetic engineering proposed by scientist Qian et al. as a guide, establishing Meta-synthetic Decision Support System (MSDSS) is a new scientific and effective approach. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of current DSS and the comparison between MSDSS and current DSS, the requirement of MSDSS is analyzed from the Meta-synthetic process solving complex decision-making problems (CDP), and the architecture of MSDSS is established, the key technologies of implementing the system is discussed. Finally, the status of developing a MSDSS for demonstration of weapon and equipment is introduced briefly.
