摘要

Optimisation of a number of process stages within the MOCVD process has collectively led to the production of Cd_(1-x)Zn_xS/CdTe devices with high solar cell η up to 15.3 %. Substrate preparation prior to deposition had a strong influence on Cd_(1-x)Zn_xS nucleation and overall layer coverage. Limitation of pinhole density was crucial in order to reduce the effect of associated micro-shunts.
