摘要

During high energy irradiation to produce Sr-82 the stable isotopes of strontium (Sr-84, and Sr-86) are also coproduced in detectable quantities. Total strontium can be determined by ICP-OES or by summation of strontium detected by ICP-MS and gamma spectroscopy, however it is much easier to determine specific activity of Sr-82 by gamma spectroscopy and ICP-OES.
