~(195m)Pt-cisplatin obtained by irradiating gold targets using electron accelerator and extraction technology is more effective drug than nonradioactive cisplatin and may prove to be an alternative to conventional cisplatin. Future in-vivo studies to assess antitumor effect and risk of potential toxic effects are warranted.
