Motion compensation is an indispensable step for generating a high quality image in the airborne SAR system. Inrnbistatic SAR, there are two separate platforms and their velocities cannot keep same all the time. So the echoesrnare transmitted and received at uniform positions, respectively, which deteriorate the imaging results. In this paper,rnan azimuth resample method for compensating the velocity variance along the flying direction is promoted,rnand the difference of azimuth resample between monostatic SAR and bistatic SAR is pointed out. Finally, simulatedrnresults show the validity of the method.
