摘要

A combined near-infrared and mid-infrared laser-based absorption sensor was developed for simultaneous measurements of N2O,CO,NO and gas temperature for small-sized spacecraft thruster.Time-resolved multi-species concentration and gas temperature were detected in an actual Ammonium dinitramide (ADN) based monopropellant thruster.Steady-state firing and pulse-mode firing under the operation condition were measured.Multi-species measurements for the steady-state firing verified theoretical study of ADN monopropellant decomposition and combustion.The sensor proves its practicality for such small-sized facility.Furthermore,spatially-resolved measurements along the axial direction could be developed in the combustion chamber for future studies.
