Running mechanism is one of the most important components of a shearer hauled-part and undertakes the essential task of movement and support of the whole shearer.The guide sliding shoe tearing is the most common failure of the running mechanism, which will lead to the shutdown of the whole shearer loader, and cause great financial loss.As a consequence, the strength analysis of the guide sliding shoe has great significance on reliability of the whole shearer loader.In this paper, following comprehensive consideration of structure layout, dynamic parameters and coal seam dip angle, the mechanical model of whole shearer, which satisfies both dynamic parameters matching and balance constraint condition of traction force, is built.The force situations of guide sliding shoes in different conditions are calculated by writing Matlab programs.Then through the establishment of finite element model of the guide sliding shoe in ANSYS software, the potential force areas of sliding shoes are analyzed and the maximum stress and transformation of sliding shoes are obtained.The strength analysis results of the guide sliding shoe can provide basis for improvement and reliability.
