摘要

We present the results of an experimental investigation on the magnetocaloric properties ofrnMn_(1.30)Fe_(0.65)P_(0.5)Si_(0.5) powders with different average particle sizes. Specific heat capacity under magnetic fieldrncp(H,T) and magnetic field induced isothermal entropy change Δs_(iso)(H,T) were measured by Peltierrncalorimetry. Thermal hysteresis is found to decreases with the particle size, but the refrigerant performance,rnevaluated by using the product Δs_(iso) Δtad of the isothermal entropy change Δs_(iso) and the adiabatic temperaturernchange ΔT_(ad) , has only slight dependence on the particle size.
