摘要

In the study on groundwater flow in large-scale basins, the first step is to understanding the regional patterns of groundwater formation and distribution. In this paper, groundwater flow, age and temperature were simulated for a cross-section in the Cretaceous Basin of the Ordos Basin. The 240 Km-long cross-section consists of the main aquifers of the study zone, and is one of the representative hydrogeological section. The results show that there are three groundwater flow systems. Discussions were presented on scaling features of the local, intermediate and regional flow system, on groundwater circulation amount, on groundwater age and on hydrogeological conditions. Circulation patterns of groundwater system in the Cretaceous Basin of the Ordos Basin were identified from the point of Spatial and temporal view.
