A two block model to communicate with processes

摘要

Today's system-technique in the field of process control is very heterogeneous. The reason is that distributed control systems, process logical controllers are supported by other systems like simulators, quality management systems and expert systems to operate a plant. these systems give additional information, which help supervising the production process and configuring the automation systems. Between the different systems and the operator a powerful interface is necessary. For building up this interface the implementation of a common functionbase is required. On the one hand this must be conform with information duty of the user and on the other hand it must adduce all system tasks. Modern informaiton techniques like object modeling are used to specify the postulated functionbase. Described in this way, a functionbase must be implemented in common computer systems.
