This article has explained on the surge mechanism of axial-flow fan, and has analysed the main reason of the parallel connection fan of axial-flow type surged under high load situation. Meanwhile, the paper has introduced actual measure and effect of the surge of some a power plant, and this paper has provided experience in order to avoid the surge happened in other same type fan again.
