Reduction nonlinearity of output luminance using modified ADS driving method in SMPDP

摘要

One of the factors deteriorating PDP image quality isrnthe nonlinearity and nonuniform of output luminancernas a function of input gray level. A novel method usingrnmodified ADS driving scheme is proposed to decreasernthis nonlinearity. It optimizes the reset pulse andrnadjusts the subfields, makes the relation of outputrnluminance and input gray level almost linear. Thisrnmethod can be applied to general commercial PDPs .
