摘要

The adiabatic temperature change (ΔT) in polycrystalline compound Gd3Al2 and polycrystalline Gd have been measured in dynamic mode in magnetic fields up to 1.78 T (created by Halbach-type permanent magnet field source). The dynamic measurements were conducted in the temperature range from 78 K to 380 K and the field change rate of 1.5 T/s. Measurements in pulsed magnetic fields of 0.15 T were also made to confirm lower field dynamic measurements.
