A New Set of Adaptive Weighting Functions for Scheduling the Packets In An ATM Switch

This paper proposes a novel scheduling algorithm, which incorporates a new adaptive weightage functions to efficiently determine the cells for transmission over the ATM network based on a weightage system. A low overall cell loss ratio is shown by Opnet simulation. Hence, this could enhance further the existing architecture of complete partitioning of output buffers.
