摘要

The loading conditions applied to many components in real life often change, such as in sequential loading, during their life cycle. The reliability prediction under sequential loading is, therefore, of importance. Based on the assumptions that the life depends only on the damage which has been accumulated up to, and the stress level at, the present time, and the life distributions at different stress levels belong to the same location-scale distribution family, the life and the damage distributions under sequential loading are derived in this paper. Formulas for calculating the reliable life and the mean life are also developed. The results obtained here will facilitate the prediction of the reliability under sequential loading.
