Testing and Optimum Designing for Special Fan Used By Air Cushion Belt Conveyor

Air Cushion Belt Conveyor (ACBC) is an energy saving, low maintaining and operation cost, and good developing material handling equipment. Because there is not the special fan in China used to supply air for ACBC, we have to select the fan which parameters are not suitable with ACBC. And then ACBC cannot do its best to work and sometimes it may not as good as idler belt conveyors. This paper is on the test analysis and optimum design for special fan designed to fit on ACBC, and the test shows a better result. The method to design, optimize and test special fan is proposed here.
