Plantain as the unique plants in the south of China has many natural advantages.However,its low utilization led to a waste of resources.Therefore,we should pay more attention to its applications.Nowadays,water pollution of heavy mental has become one of the most serious problems,especially,Pb2+ions is the biggest threat to human health.Adsorption is an traditional efficient method to removal of Pb2+,but lacking of adsorbent restricts this method having a further development.So,this paper prepared and characterized a novel plantain cellulose-based heavy mental adsorption material.Adsorption groups CS2 and Graphene were grafted onto the plantain cellulose which was pretreated in the NaOH and C2H5OH mixed solutions.Furthermore,the morphology and structure of the adsorption material were investigated by Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectrometer,X-ray diffraction,and Thermogravimetry.FT-IR observation showed C=S and S-C-S bonds in modified cellulose.XRD analysis indicated that there was a peak at 26.76°which was similar to Graphene diffraction peak.TG analysis described that the thermal stability of modified cellulose definitely decreased.Moreover,under different conditions,reagent adsorption of Pb2+ions results revealed that when the adsorbent dosage was 0.2g,adsorption solution had a pH value of 5-6,the adsorption time was 120min and the temperature is30℃,and the adsorption amount of Pb2+was 200mg/g adsorbent.The adsorption equilibrium was well described by Langmuir adsorption isotherms,and the secondary adsorption kinetics model was also introduced to explain the Pb adsorption process.
