The paper discusses the feasibility of preparing high early strength Belite-rich cement by u-sing high Belite Portland cement (HBC) clinker together with C_3 S-rich Portland clinker (PC), CA, C_4A_3S, C_(11) A_7 · CaF_2 or various calcium sulfates. It is found that the 3-day compressive strength of HBC could reach 20-25 MPa when it is prepared together with PC clinkers and the 28-day strength can also be improved. The early strength of HBC increases remarkably by mixing HBC clinker together with such high active minerals as CA, C_4 A_3S or C_(11) A_7 · CaF_2 among which CA has the best activation effect on HBC. The early strength of HBC can also be improved by increasing SO_3 content. When anhydrite is used) the strength of HBC could be higher than that of HBC mixed with gypsum. When the gypsum heated at 150℃ is used in HBC, the strength of HBC would be decreased remarkably.
